CHRISTOPHER DOYLE HONORED AT THE MOUTON CADET WINE BAR AFTER ANGÉNIEUX AWARD

The prestigious award Pierre Angénieux ExcelLens in Cinematography is back for the second year in a row on the terrace of the Mouton Cadet Wine Bar for a cocktail evening after the official ceremony.

After Peter Suschitzky (2016), the Award is paying tribute to distinguished cinematographer Christopher Doyle for his entire career.

Overlooking the magnifient view of the Mouton Cadet Wine Bar at sunset, Christopher Doyle was surrounded by some of the most significant directors and actors, including member of the Angénieux Jury such as Academy award winner Juliette Binoche.

Every year the “Pierre Angénieux ExcelLens in Cinematography” award ceremony pays tribute to a director of photography whose work has marked the history of world cinema.

Of Australian origin and also known under his Chinese name, Du Ke Feng («Like The Wind»), Christopher Doyle has collaborated with many international directors (Alejandro Jodorowsky, Gus Van Sant, Barry Levinson, Jim Jarmusch…) and is renowned for his considerable contribution to Chinese language cinema, including his longstanding collaboration with Wong Kar-Wai (In The Mood For Love, Perhaps Love).
