Tasting notes

Aspect: An intense, glittering garnet red.

Nose: The nose opens on an attractive mixture of spices such as cinnamon, pepper and vanilla, then goes on to reveal notes of ripe red and black fruit, especially Burlat cherry and blackberry.

Palate: From a very round attack on ripe red fruit flavours, the delicious black fruit and spice notes found on the nose return on the mid-palate, leading into a long and full finish underpinned by finely chiselled tannins.

Pairings suggestions

Prime rib, lamb shoulder, duck magret with green pepper sauce.

Serving temperature: 15 - 17°c
